We are thrilled to announce that Daisy Basilio, Sales & Events Coordinator at the Victory Services Club, has been shortlisted for the Chris Peacock Rising Star of the Year Award in the prestigious M&IT Awards.
At just 24 years old, Daisy has already made a significant impact on both the VSC and the wider events industry. From mentoring colleagues and driving operational improvements to championing mental health and representing the Club at national industry events, Daisy embodies the spirit of a rising star.
“I’m incredibly honoured to be shortlisted for the M&IT Rising Star Award,” said Daisy. “It’s a wonderful recognition, and I’m truly grateful to my team and Venues of Excellence for their support and encouragement along the way.”
Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and client-focused approach have helped secure new business and deliver outstanding experiences for VSC clients. Most notably, Daisy became a qualified Mental Health First Aider after personally proposing a focus on wellbeing – leading to new initiatives that have improved working life across the Club.
