The Victory Services Club (VSC) is celebrating after being named Employee Engagement Award winner at this year’s Hospitality Assured Awards, recognising the Club’s outstanding commitment to creating a positive, supportive and engaging workplace.
Presented at a ceremony at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House in London, the award recognises organisations that put their people at the heart of everything they do by investing in their wellbeing, development and workplace culture.
The award reflects the significant investment the Club has made in its employees over recent years, including improved staff facilities, enhanced training and development opportunities, and a leadership approach that encourages collaboration, empowerment and continuous improvement.
Mark Field, General Manager of the Victory Services Club, said: “We are incredibly proud to receive this award. Employee engagement is about much more than policies or initiatives. It’s about creating an environment where people feel respected, listened to and able to contribute.
“Our team is the foundation of everything we do and this award recognises the culture we have worked hard to build together. We’ve focused on investing in our people, creating opportunities for development and ensuring colleagues feel valued and supported. To see those efforts recognised by Hospitality Assured is fantastic for the whole team.”
The latest accolade follows another major people award for the Club, having won the Best Staff Employee Wellness Award at the HR in Hospitality Awards last year for its commitment to colleague wellbeing.
As a registered charity, the Victory Services Club is proud that its commercial success helps fund respite and reward breaks for injured and deserving members of the Armed Forces. Hospitality Assured recognised that this unique social purpose is embedded throughout the organisation and helps create a genuine sense of pride among employees.
This latest achievement is a testament to every member of the VSC team, whose dedication, professionalism and passion ensure that members, guests and event organisers continue to receive exceptional service every day.
