VSC Housekeeping Team named finalist in national awards

Posted on: Tuesday 04th August 2026

The Victory Services Club’s Housekeeping Team has been named a finalist in the Housekeeping Team of the Year category at the 2026 Triple ‘H’ Awards – The Hotel Housekeeping Honours.

The team was nominated for the award by an external supporter of the Club, making the recognition particularly meaningful. The identity of the person who submitted the nomination has not been revealed, but it reflects the lasting impression the team makes on members, guests and visitors.

The Triple ‘H’ Awards celebrate the finest standards across the housekeeping profession, recognising the people and teams whose professionalism, dedication and service enhance the guest experience.

Led by Housekeeping Manager Tamara Pacochova, VSC’s 37-strong team represents nine nationalities and has almost 200 years of combined service. Together, its members care for 200 bedrooms and the Club’s extensive public and event spaces, supporting approximately 63,000 room nights and welcoming around 90,000 overnight guests each year.

The nomination highlights the team’s exceptional loyalty, inclusive culture and commitment to developing colleagues internally. It also recognises the resilience demonstrated during the three-month refurbishment of the Housekeeping corridor. Despite operating from around 40% of its usual space and rerouting more than 60 bags of linen through the building each day, the team maintained its standards with minimal disruption to members and guests.

Mark Field, General Manager of the Victory Services Club, said: “We are incredibly proud that our Housekeeping Team has been nominated and is now a finalist for this award. They are one of the most dedicated teams I have had the privilege of working with, and they take enormous pride in everything they do.

“Housekeeping is often the department guests never see, but the results of its work are visible everywhere. Every clean bedroom, welcoming corridor and positive first impression begins with this team. Its members are the unsung heroes of the Victory Services Club, and this recognition is thoroughly deserved.”

The winners will be announced at the Triple ‘H’ Awards ceremony at the Crowne Plaza in Stratford-upon-Avon on 10 September 2026.
