Victory Services Club’s Daisy Basilio has been recognised once again by the events industry, this time appearing in M&IT Magazine as part of a feature exploring why the next generation of event leaders is putting wellbeing first.
The profile follows Daisy’s success at the 2025 M&IT Awards, where she was named Chris Peacock Rising Star of the Year in recognition of her exceptional contribution to both the Club and the wider meetings and events industry.
In the interview, Daisy discusses the importance of creating workplaces where people feel supported, valued and able to develop, as well as the role wellbeing plays in building successful careers and stronger teams. She also reflects on her own journey into the industry and why she’s passionate about encouraging more young people to see events as a rewarding profession.
Daisy has become a familiar face to many of our clients, combining exceptional customer service with a genuine enthusiasm for helping every event succeed. Alongside her day-to-day role, she is a qualified Mental Health First Aider and is passionate about supporting colleagues as well as delivering outstanding experiences for clients.
Everyone at the Victory Services Club is incredibly proud to see Daisy recognised as one of the industry’s emerging leaders, and we’re delighted to see her representing both the Club and the values that make our team so special.
